B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Chemistry
Experience:

One year in testing laboratory.

The testing laboratory should be BIS certified or ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited.
Role & Responsibilities:
The Chemical Engineer is responsible for supporting the Chemical Department within GRAVITAS LABORATORIES PVT LTD.
Specific responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Monitor chemical processes and test the products to make sure that they meet standards and specifications
- Set up and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment
- Prepare chemical solutions
- Conduct, compile, and interpret results of chemical and physical experiments, tests, and analyses for a variety of purposes, including research and development
- Prepare technical reports, graphs, and charts, and give presentations that summarize their results
- Provide process support to several chemical processes as well as troubleshooting and technical direction to employees
- Knowledgeable about and commitment to safety regulations and compliance standards
- Documentation of test results, maintaining records according to ISO 17025:2017
- Ability to train employees
- Provide knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Ensure proper chemical storage
- Ensure equipment is performing well and take appropriate action as necessary
- Should be aware of ISO 17025:2017
Effective communication skill is crucial to interact with laboratory personnel, and other stakeholders.
The Chemical Engineer should have strong verbal and written communication skills.

Testing Engineer

Educational Qualification:
- B. Tech. – Mechanical Engineering
Experience:
- One year in metal testing laboratory.
- The testing laboratory should be BIS certified or ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Test Execution: Conduct thorough testing of metal and civil products as per relevant national and international standards.
- Proficient in material testing and characterization methods such as microscopy, spectroscopy.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of test procedures, results, and any identified issues, providing clear documentation for analysis and future reference and smooth operations of testing laboratory as per the required standard.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Communication: Effectively communicate test results and quality-related information to relevant stakeholders, including management and cross-functional teams.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about relevant industry regulations and standards, ensuring that laboratory meets or exceeds required certifications.
- Knowledgeable about and commitment to safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Provide training and guidance to team members or other departments on quality assurance practices and the importance of quality standards.
- Ensures equipment is performing well and takes appropriate action as necessary.
- Should be aware of ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
- Documentation of test results, maintaining records according to ISO 17025:2017.
